About the role
Summary: Assist the special asset team in daily department administrative and data entry tasks to support the efficient handling of creating and managing case files Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support our bankruptcy team in creating new filings and gathering documentation for external entities such as outside counsel, posting payments and uploading documents into database as well as assisting with notices and bankruptcy requests.
- Assist the foreclosure and repossession process by tracking legal correspondence and uploading documentation to files.
- Ensure borrower and other individuals receive time sensitive correspondence such as default letters, loss mitigation letters and packages; track and scan all outside communications with clients, attorneys and other parties to loan as part of the consumer collection process.
- Assist the Consumer Collection team in tracking outbound calls to borrowers to document the collection effort.
- Assist the special asset team on special projects or general department tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Familiarity with collections processes or financial systems a plus but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in processing data and maintaining records.
