Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Manager plans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance program designed to ensure
quality production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties
personally, or through subordinate supervisors. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and
maintaining Quality Assurance Program and HACCP system, analyzing customer contact trends, production data,
and developing strategies and programs for improved product safety quality and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate
- policies and goals.
- Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in the organization.
- Implements, maintains and ensures the integrity of the plant food safety and quality
- program.
- Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated
- requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
- Organizes and conducts internal quality audits.
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the
- current process and process changes.
- Monitors the adequacy of food safety and quality plans with actions as needed.
- Assists in verifying and investigating non-conformances.
- Identifies and evaluates quality problems and recommend solutions.
- Evaluates, verifies and reports the implementation of corrective and preventive action.
- Ensures that needed recourses are provided and training is completed for personnel
- performing quality related activities.
- This position has a legal responsibility to ensure that Monogram Pet Treats comply with all
- federal and state regulations associated with food safety and product consistency during
