Job Description
Office Manager - part-time (28 hours per week)
Student Wellness provides programs, education, resources, and facilities that promote life-long behaviors for a healthier, happier, and successful life. The Student Wellness Office Manager provides primarily administrative support and assistance to the Director of Student Wellness and the department. This includes assisting with general office duties, records management, department communications and administrative support. This position also acts a financial controller and processes department purchases and billing. Additionally, the Office Manager will develop and support department committee activities. This includes committee relations, planning, agendas, minutes, and other assignments. This position reports to the Director for Student Wellness.
What you will be doing in this position:
Office Management
- Act as Controller for department financial activities
- Generate and administer department billing and invoicing
- Handle all department inquires and front office reception desk
- Attends department/committee meetings, takes minutes and keeps notes
- Manage department office supplies and ordering
- Provide budgeting and financial support for travel, program and department purchases.
- Assist organizing department meetings, communication, retreats, events and trainings.
University Committee Duties
- Attend campus committee assignments.
- Support staff in committee relations, planning, meetings and agendas.
- Complete committee assignments and support events.
What qualifies you for this role:
Minimum education/experience required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and three years’ work experience in office setting.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree plus three years’ work experience in office setting in higher education. Prior BYU Workday experience strongly preferred.

Pay Grade: 48
Typical Starting Pay: $20.00-$25.75
