MBRDNA’s Autonomous Driving team is responsible for developing and implementing the next generation of autonomous driving systems together with US-based partners (Luminar, NVIDIA, etc) and colleagues in Germany. Systems include hardware and software.
The purpose of this position is to lead and grow a technical team that develops algorithms and software in the fields of Maps, Localization, Planning and non-functional software for Mercedes-Benz vehicles of the SAE levels 2-4. Expected are major contributions to the overall architecture and design of Mercedes-Benz vehicles as part of the global MB R&D team in coordination with peer groups in the US, India and in Germany.

Job Responsibilities:

• As the Test Ops LEAD, you will be responsible for taking the training provided by our partner and cascading it down to the Test Operators.
• Responsible for keeping track of TO’s qualifications, training, vacation time etc.
• Test Operator resource planning.
• You will be assigned one or more Tasks everyday.
• Daily Task Execution (end to end as per defined instructions).
• Install Software in the car as per the task.
• Task will have defined test cases and expected deliverables.
• Execute those test cases in the Vehicle with or without Autonomous mode (e.g. ACC, LK, Parking Assist, NCAP, etc.).
• Collect all issues and feedback from the drive.
• Collect all logs/data from the Car/Vehicle.
• Upload and report all issues/logs/data to the server.
• You should have a track record of working well across organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, Technical/Computer education degree.
• Operating system basics - Linux, QNX.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Demonstrated experience of excellent test planning and execution.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Can speak, read and write English at a professional level.
• Strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
• Demonstrated values of Self-motivation and Ownership.
• Valid USA driving license with clean record for at least 1 year.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
• A clean driving record & no criminal history is required.
• Valid US Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Test Operator role for Autonomous Vehicle technology.
• Experience in Linux, QNX.
• Experience in Operations/Military/Law Enforcement.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related education, skills, and experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $111,500 - $139,500.
