Senior Network Engineer

Tech Firefly is teaming up with a financial services company based in Duluth, GA to hire a Network Engineer

Location: Duluth, GA (Must be flexible to travel on-site once in awhile)

Responsibilities

• Augment network team in a resident model.
• Primary responsibilities would be support of day-to-day activities and project based items.
• Need ability to support onsite and remote in a 50/50 breakdown.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.
• Implement network security measures to protect the organization’s sensitive data and information.
• Participate in network performance and capacity planning activities.
• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure network solutions are aligned with business needs.
• Document and maintain network infrastructure information and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior network engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Cisco ACI with Nexus Dashboard and MSO
• Legacy Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/2K
• Cisco Campus Catalyst 9600, 4500
• Cisco Wireless 5508/5520
• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptella)
• Strong knowledge and experience with network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions and architecture.
• Solid understanding of network security best practices and protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
