About the role

Job Description:

The LPE will conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs as well as collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to determine interventions or services needed to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments to evaluate cognitive abilities, academic skills, and        emotional/behavioral functioning
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and communicate findings to appropriate parties
  • Create programming recommendations as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in psychology, educational psychology, school psychology, or related field
  • Certification/licensure as required by the state
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and report writing skills
