Eco-Soil Stabilizers, A Groundworks Company, has been the leading the construction industry in clay soils stabilization for over a decade. Our proprietary soil stabilization injection technology is the most tested and trusted method of clay soil stabilization recommended by Geotechnical Engineers across the State of Texas. We're looking to hire a Field Superintendent in the Dallas area.
The Field Superintendent oversees and coordinates commercial soil stabilization projects and supervises field operators under the direction of the Production Manager. The Field Superintendent is responsible for the proper installation of clay soil stabilization injection Technoloy, projecting homesites from damage caused by highly expansive soils. The Field Superintendent facilitates an efficient and safe working environment by ensuring that effective processes, procedures, and methods are utilized.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement efficiencies related to production activities
- Oversee all site construction activities ensuring approved plans, specifications and timeline are followed
- Analyze and interpret detailed land survey diagrams (plat maps) to accurately identify property boundaries, dimensions, easements, and other legal land features
- Assist and support operation planning as required
- Assist in managing Field Operators, including work allocation, orientation, training, performance evaluation, and recommending changes as needed
- Conduct regular individual and group meetings to ensure effective communication with crew members
- Provide performance coaching to crew members, fostering continuous improvement
- Regularly visit job sites to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Assist sales and other employees with technical aspects of system installations
- Manage machines, tools, and materials at job sites, ensuring proper use and maintenance of company assets
- Understand permitting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a supervisor or lead in land development projects or similar construction environments required
- 1-2 years of experience in machine operation, excavators and skid steers preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of site development,
- Excellent communication skills to ensure solid relationship building with employees, customers, and other project leaders
- Ability to drive light commercial vehicles required, CDL preferred
- Ability to navigate comfortably on computers, tablets and computer software
- Ability to multitask and delegate
Physical Requirements
- This position is manual and physical in nature. This position requires on occasion lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying heavy objects up to and around 50 lbs or more. and may require walking and standing for extended periods of time.
