Purpose of the position

 

 

Develop quality standards for sourcing, operation and assembly and design and implement the measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

• Ensuring that product quality meets Hiab’s specifications and requirements.
• Monitor and analyze quality statistics on the suppliers’ quality deficiencies.
• Analyze and eliminate quality disturbances in their product range.
• Assist production in matters of supplier quality.
• Develop and work with Hiab’s procedures relating to quality.
• Participate in quality meetings and projects and propose activities to prevent recurrence of defects.
• Create and send complaints according to Hiab’s systems and to follow up corrective activities and verify them.
• Obligation to stop production when the suspicion of quality and safety-related abnormalities are detected.
• To be active in coordinating the complaint process together with the respective SD, and develop guidelines and requirements to suppliers when suspicion of quality and safety-related abnormalities are detected.
• Responsibility and authority supports Hiab's agreed budget strategies and action plans relating to product quality.
• Issue claim invoices and monitor supplier claims in the claims process.
• To be the company's representative in quality matters and together with suppliers to develop good quality level for purchased components.
• PPAP Initial Samples handling.
• Responsible for incoming inspection of purchased parts (if necessary).

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Education:

• Higher educated in engineering field, alternatively work experience in similar industry. 

Experience:

• Adequate experience in quality is an advantage.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of quality tools
• To have a structured approach to work
• Have a high work rate
• Manage and prioritize cases in the correct order during stress situations
• Good computer skills
• Possess a high flexibility
• Able to communicate in English in speech and writing
• Have a high level of service in both the treatment and availability
