What You'll Do

About this role:

We are seeking a versatile staff accountant with experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll and reconciling general ledgers. 

 

Responsibilities

• Compliance:Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. 
• Data Entry: Strong attention to detail in entering accounts payable invoices.
• Payroll: Attention to accuracy in processing payroll- construction industry knowledge a plus.
• Collaboration:Collaborating with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members. 
• Audits:Assisting with financial audits related to construction projects.

Essential Skills

• Accounting Principles:Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 
• Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights. 
• Communication Skills:Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial team members. 
• Computer Skills:Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). 
• Professionalism: Must demonstrate courteous service and ethical behavior.
• Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
