This role supports the Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to business units with a focus on the design, build, and maintenance of the ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations.

 

As part of a hardworking team of diverse professionals, you will provide administrative assistance to the Test & Flight Operations program. This role involves frequent engagement with Test & Flight Operations leadership and requires a candidate with executive presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence others.  We are looking for someone to apply their attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Test & Flight Operations Executive Team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report processing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain databases by entering data and generating reports, including seating assignments in OfficeSpace and other program tools. Coordinate straightforward projects that require coordination between multiple teams, and support more complex projects managed by project managers.
  • Manage and support executive calendar of meetings, reviews, and appointments. Plan, coordinate and track schedules to ensure they are followed and kept up to date.
  • Work closely with program leadership to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Make complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
  • Complete expense reports on behalf of the assigned team.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners on behalf of executives.
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences, events, and other business-related activities and assist in the preparation and execution of meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Maintain conference rooms and common areas to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, memos, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost integrity.
  • Support NG leadership and admin team with other tasks as required to assist the program.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of administrative experience
  • Highschool Diploma/ GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities and delivery
  • Attention to detail – Demonstrate ability to produce quality products with a high level of accuracy
  • Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Administrative skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
