Lead Quality Technician (2nd Shift)

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced ​Lead Quality Technician - 2nd Shift​​ to join our growing team. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the ​Lead Quality Technician will ​oversee and support the quality departments including, receiving inspection, PCBA inspection, document review and quality related activities on the production floor.​

This role is on our 2nd shift (Monday-Friday) from 2:30 – 11 PM.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assign priorities to a team of technicians who perform receiving inspections, final inspections, troubleshooting, document review and inspections on the production floor. 
• Communicate directly with supervisors and quality engineers for guidance on issues during operational tasks. 
• Document all maintenance actions on Atlassian-associated software (JIRA). 
• Perform all other duties as assigned. 
• Ensure Quality Technicians follow internal procedures and processes that meet QMS requirements. 
• Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) tasks and activities to support Quality Engineers.  
• Understand Engineering Drawings, Manufacturing and Test Instructions to provide guidance to other quality technicians. 
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) Room activities to ensure Non-Conforming Product follow QAP requirements. 

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance discipline within the aerospace industry. 
• Excellent communication (written/verbal) and ability to effectively retain and disperse information throughout all levels of management. 
• Familiarization with cleanroom and ESD precautionary measures. 
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications. 
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.  
• Meticulous attention to detail & documentation. 
• General understanding of electronic components, electronic designs, and manufacturing.

Salary Range $25.00 - $37.00 per hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
