Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Oversees the daily operations at a residential facility for adults with serious mental illness, ensuring client care and safety; scheduling services and activities, implementing protocols, and maintaining compliance with residential policies and procedures as well as providing daily supervision for other residential staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervisory responsibility for team of multi-leveled staff.
• Observe and document client compliance with medication regimes as dictated in the treatment plan; assist clinical staff in meeting and monitoring the client’s medical and health care needs.
• Assist in implementation of agency programs as specified by supervisor. 
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the environment.  Follow agency protocols in emergencies, assisting in monthly fire and tornado drills.
• Complete assessments and reassessments as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
• Customer service skills.
• Knowledge of role and function of various community resources.
• Problem solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.  One year experience in behavioral health environment is preferred.

Years of Experience

Two years of experience in behavioral health environment is preferred.

Entry Pay Range:

$46,426.00 - $65,062.00
