Quote and Sales Specialist I

Are looking for a chance to initiate your career in an inside sales role? If so, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will work with multiple data sources to provide information required to identify, price and quote spare parts.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work with multiple internal and external collaborators to quote quickly and accurately
• Analyze information, recognize errors, and follow up with users to understand needs
• Read, Sort, Prioritize, and Respond to Impact Partners request for quotes
• Provide Information that will be used by factories and Impact Partners
• Use Microsoft Office to supervise and update key performance metrics and maintain quote information
• Extract information from Business System to provide quote information (serials, spares, pricing, new part numbers, and lead-time)
• Review drawings and item setup to understand marketability and item attribute commonalities
• Review customer and Flow Controls' specifications to ensure appropriate quality and processing requirements are applied to quotes and orders

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years with Fisher Operations, Project Management, Order Entry, or equivalent work experience.
• MS Office experience including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• MS Access and Project experience.
• Experience with of bills of material, mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and instruction manuals.
• System Knowledge Skills (FLEx, Oracle, FF2, BQT Quote Tool, and Oasis).
• Organization and Time Management Skills
• Research Skills
