Come join our team in Waterloo, IA!Job Description:The HR Generalist will provide administrative and human resources support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience in the HR field at a company that promotes positive culture and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, can think outside of the box, has a can-do attitude and excellent communication and organizational skills.Job Requirements:- Coordinate new hire orientation program and conduct on-boarding activities
- Track attendance. Maintain hours worked, paid time off, payroll changes within the database
- Assist with recruiting to include scheduling training and pre-employment physicals
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Engage with employees to develop transparent communication
- Participates in others special projects as assigned
- Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
- Resourceful, creative thinking for searching and recruiting candidates
- Ability to handle confidential information is essential
- Ability to learn and continuously grow by gradually taking on additional responsibility and challenges
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred
- Energetic and entrepreneurial approach and a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to minimally spend time on off shifts (2nd and 3rd shift) as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in working within Learning Management Systems
