Senior Director, Total Rewards & People Operations
As the Senior Director, Total Rewards & People Operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, communicating, and administering the company’s compensation and benefit programs as well as building a world-class People Operations function. You will be the ideal candidate for this role if you are a self-starter with a bias for action and deep experience in building Total Rewards programming, managing payroll, and delivering processes and systems for scale. You are deeply analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, enabling you to successfully drive forward multiple complex projects. Above all, you embody the Thirty Madison mission of providing access to healthcare for all who suffer from chronic conditions.

- The base pay range for this position is $183,200 - $251,900 per year.

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
What you get to do every day
- Strategic Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the Total Rewards, Payroll, People Operations teams, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
- Board of Directors Support: Assist in conducting analyses and creating reports and materials for our Board of Director meetings.
Total Rewards & Payroll
- Develop Thirty Madison's Total Rewards philosophy to attract, motivate, and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop compensation policies and procedures to provide consistency and governance.
- Create effective education and communication strategies to maximize the value of our Total Rewards offerings.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to benchmark positions and develop competitive total reward packages.
- Partner with the Chief Financial Officer on forecasting and implementing compensation, equity, and benefits plans.
- Oversee benefits and compensation cycles, including equity review cycles and benefits enrollment.
- Manage 401k reporting and compliance.
- Design and implement a full suite of benefits for our innovative healthcare company and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and lead the payroll team to drive efficiency and accuracy of our payroll processes
- Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage compensation accruals.
- Stay current with payroll tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Oversee year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing.
- Manage relationships with payroll service providers and vendors.
People Operations
- Build world-class People Operations function that allows Thirty Madison and KMG to operate seamlessly, efficiently, and drive a positive employee experience
- Oversee all aspects of People operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS systems
- Develop and operationalize culture-aligned policies, procedures, and programs compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, minimizing corporate risk
- Utilize data-driven insights to support the People Team and Leadership in making informed decisions and continuously improve People processes and practices
- Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes through automation and system enhancements
- Negotiate and oversee partnerships with People Operations vendors
What you bring to the role:
- 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, including equity design and administration.
- Proven track record in developing successful Total Rewards strategies for hyper-growth companies.
- Deep expertise in employment and immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Data-driven mindset, able to leverage data for actionable insights.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
