Intern - Information Security

The Information Security team is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and technology by conducting assessments and implementing control frameworks. Report any control violation findings through the Inova Health System risk management framework and maintain appropriate documentation associated with information security. 

As an intern, you will be assigned to work with the Inova Health System project management office and cyber security assessors. Your role will involve evaluating the existing internal controls, conducting third-party risk assessments, reviewing current processes and procedures, and providing recommendations. Additionally, you will be able to collaborate with the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Analysts to improve the new Identity and Access Management Program.
