Senior Mechanical Engineer

<ul> <li>Actively participate in the entire development process from concept to manufacturing</li> <li>Apply your creativity to create CAD designs and concepts, considering economic, manufacturing, and functional aspects – preferably using Solidworks and Solidworks PDM</li> <li>Play a key role in building prototypes</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues in electronics development, system testing, and quality control to develop the product to manufacturing readiness.</li> <li>Prepare manufacturing drawings</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Essential Skills and Experience: </p> <ul> <li>You have a completed (university) degree in mechanical engineering or precision engineering or an equivalent level of education.</li> <li>+5 Years experience</li> <li>Proficient in using modern CAD and simulation tools, preferably Solidworks, and ideally have experience in freeform modeling.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of materials in the fields of plastics and metal, along with expertise in modern production processes, including 3D printing SLS/SLA, plastic injection molding, turning/milling, stamping and bending parts, metal casting, and joining techniques.</li> <li>Conversational fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate regular organizational and technical communication.</li> <li>Strong team orientation, excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility and self-organization.</li> <li>Open-minded, curious, and eager to continuously develop yourself.</li> </ul> <p></p> <span>Welcome to Fanatec, the ultimate destination for sim racing enthusiasts!
