We are now looking for a Data Analyst with technical skills / Analytics Engineer to to help us shape the future of the ‘embedded finance’ revolution.

You will team up with our Lead Data Analyst and Data Engineer on the mission of delivering the core data infrastructure and data processing pipelines that empower Intergiro's data users and drive business insights. Our Data team operates cross-functionally, providing data and analytics support to all areas of the business, with a strong emphasis on technology.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Intergiro, your role is crucial for helping the company make better decisions using data. Here's what you'll do:

1. Understanding Business Processes. Get into how our banking, card issuing, and card acquiring products work to figure out what data we need and how we can make things run better.

2. Model, build and support analytics data layer. You'll create and support the systems that organise our data so it's accurate, reliable, and ready for us to use in reports and analysis.

3. Developing reports. Create regular and special reports based on our team needs

4. Optimise reporting content. Keep making our reports and dashboards better over time, so we can make data even more accessible and easy to use across the business

5. Develop documentation and data governance. You'll keep our data in check by making sure it is well-documented and follows the rules, so it's high-quality and meets requirements for a financial institution

6. Teaching others. You'll help our team members learn how to use our data platforms, so everyone can use data effectively.

Requirements

We believe this role is ideal for someone who has previously worked as a Data/BI Analyst or similar for a few years, so you have a solid understanding of the field. While you will have the opportunity to learn and collaborate with a senior colleague, you will also take on significant responsibilities independently and experience substantial growth in this role as the team is small and you will be part of developing how we work.

More specifically we are looking for candidates with the following technical skills:

• Strong in SQL (must-have)

• Dimensional modelling (must-have)

• Understanding of modern Data Warehouse (DWH) structures

• Proficiency in reporting with any BI tool (must-have), with preference for Metabase (best), Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

• Experience with dbt (a plus)

• Git version control (a plus)

To excel in this role, you should also possess the following competencies:

• Work experience within a similar role, at least 4 years
