Are you a detail-oriented, proactive student with an interest in sustainable supply chains, knack for organization and a passion for quality assurance? Join our team as the Sustainability Quality Assurance Coordinator! In this role, you’ll be the central support hub ensuring that our internal processes meet top standards. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in data quality control, process evaluation and coordination, while playing a vital part in maintaining compliance and excellence within Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG).

In this role, you will support the work of the Sustainable Business Unit, NKG’s import and export companies to improve services to coffee farmers and promote sales of sustainably sourced green coffees, especially through our own programs NKG Bloom and NKG Verified.

Your responsibilities

Coordinate Verification Processes:

• Under the guidance of our SBU Program Managers, support the management of the internal green coffee supply chain verification program, ensuring all tasks and reviews are conducted on schedule. Assist in the configuration of workflows  according to central requirements from sustainability and compliance, as well as local specificities.

Data Collection & Analysis:​

• Gather, analyze, and document verification data in coordination with NKG colleagues around the globe to produce clear, actionable insights into the green coffee supply chains.

Quality Assurance:

• Work closely with internal teams globally to ensure standards are maintained, including support for audit reviews to ensure outcomes are fully compliant with the verification program and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Communication & Training:​

• Offer prompt and effective support to users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the new IT system.

Continuous Improvement:​

• Identify areas for process improvement, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our verification efforts.

Your profile

• Education: Enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies in business, economics, statistics, agriculture, sustainability or similar.

• Background: A natural affinity for numbers and a keen analytical interest to proficiently handle data-driven tasks.

• Interest: A profound interest in sustainability, circular economy and /or sustainable agricultural supply chains.

• Personality: Independent and analytical working style, good communication skills, solution-driven mindset, service mentality and openness to work in a multicultural environment.

• Availability: Ideally, able to commit 20 hours per week to this role.

• It's International: You demonstrate strong intercultural skills and an excellent command of English. Spanish, Portuguese or German is a plus.

• MS Office: You have a good command of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
