Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
Summary:
The Associate Technician R&D provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks. Additionally, the Associate Technician develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation and performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action.
What You Will Do:
- Assemble prototypes/products per design plan.
- Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.
- Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.
- Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
- Train others on new product processes and procedures.
- Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
What You Need:
Preferred:
- 3+ years' technical work experience in medical device development (R&D experience preferable).
- Bench fixturing / tooling design experience
- Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) or equivalent experience.
- High School Diploma or GED
$28.06/hr. – $37.96/hr., plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
