Job Summary
FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, is looking for a strategic leader for our expanding Revenue Operations and Planning team. The Manager, Revenue Operations and Planning will be a data-driven leader, responsible for our revenue planning functions (including both recurring/seasonal workstreams and ongoing revenue initiative planning/tracking). This will be a high visibility role working with various internal customers including FreeWheel’s senior leadership team, and will report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations and Planning. Core Responsibilities
- Lead all recurring/seasonal workstreams for revenue planning, including:
- Bottoms up revenue planning (by client and by product line) to inform company budget and path to achieve budget in the upcoming year
- Definition and implementation of sales compensation and incentive plans tied to company goals, working closely with finance, sales and human resource specialists
- Definition and administration of sales quotas (including allocations) and MBOs for each team as required per the defined compensation plans. Administration may include:
- Looker dashboards for tracking revenue pacing vs. quotas
- Tracking/reporting against MBO performance/pacing
- Lead planning, tracking, and oversight of revenue growth initiatives to support both current year budget and long-term growth. Tracking and oversight duties may include:
- Looker dashboards for measuring/pacing against revenue growth initiatives
- Utilizing software tools (such as Smartsheet) to track initiative health
- Leading monthly executive update meeting with revenue team leadership
- Support additional strategic projects for the Revenue Optimization team as needed, which may include:
- Partnering with FreeWheel internal strategy team on business cases for growth initiatives
- Strategic support for growth initiatives, helping facilitate key decisions and resourcing, coordinating with the business operations / strategy / sales strategy functions as needed
Collaboration with peers in the Revenue Operations team on key analytical projects, including Customer Health metrics, KPIs, and Revenue Forecasting.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales, or related field
- Self-motivated, execution-focused mindset with a high degree of urgency to help the business drive towards and exceed its revenue goals
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency with Excel (Looker experience also preferred), with the ability to identify and articulate key business trends and insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead effective meetings and presentations with sales and senior leadership as needed
- Familiarity with Salesforce customer relationship management software preferred
- Team-player with cross-functional team experience and ability to provide excellent service to internal customers - including sales, finance, services, and operations
