The Partner Associate supports day-to-day execution of partner related activities within the Thomson Reuters Partnerships & Alliances team. Activities include meeting with key strategic partners, executing go-to-market plans, reporting on outcomes and facilitating logistics. The Partner Associate supports the Partner Directors and Alliance Managers in achieving defined goals and objectives for partner success management.
Location: can be based anywhere in the US.
About the Role:
In this opportunity you will:
- Continually builds productive relationships with existing associations and keeps them engaged through sound relationship management; ensures they are engaging with association membership and demonstrating sound understanding of the needs of those clients/prospects.
- Analyzes marketplace opportunities and prioritizes activities to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Coordinates the collection and prioritization of feedback as well as the Company's response; handle escalated issues with potential impact to the broader client base to influence operations, customer proposition initiatives, and product development services.
- As a critical team player on the partnership team promote all TR products and services portfolios at every opportunity and recommend creative and innovative strategies to keep the association membership engaged.
- Communicate which existing relationship and/or commitments no longer warrant future participation.
- Responsible for monthly reporting requirements to track and prove ROI by sub-segment.
- Is responsible for attending and coordinating associations summits and / or national webinars
- Reports back potential new sales leads as well as any at risk situations.
- Collaborate with other divisions across Thomson Reuters.
About You:
You're a fit for the role if you have:
- BA/BS is required; Entrepreneurial experience / 2+ industry knowledge a plus.
- Leadership qualities and executive presence to manage C-suite internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communications skills; Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Sophisticated relationship building and client account management skills.
- Understanding client needs and quickly translates into solutions
- Comfort with the unknown and strong self-drive.
- Ability to manage competing demands and shifting priorities.
- Eagerness to keep knowledge and understanding of market intelligence and trends current.
- Strong track record of: Strategy development; Collaboration across matrix organizations; Applying creativity, innovation and analysis to deliver outcomes that meet client needs; Organized delivery (with decisive and well-supported outcomes) against complex client and varying business demands; Thriving in complex, sometimes ambiguous and fast-paced environments and Success in customer-facing roles
- Ability to 10%+ travel
