We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal / Senior Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer based out of Baltimore, MD and will require 100% on-site work.
 
What You’ll get to Do:
 
As an integral part of our Installed Performance team you will specialize in computational electromagnetics, RF antenna modeling in an installed environment, subsystem design and analysis, specialized mechanical design and analysis, as well as material evaluation. Our engineering work supports full life-cycle programs including system design, system integration, hardware design, hardware integration and hands-on build and test. 

  • Work with a diverse and talented team of engineers developing innovative and cost-effective systems that support a broad range of products and business areas across the lifecycle of a program. 

  • Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts while contributing to the development of new principles and concepts. 

  • Work with Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs), Antenna/RF Performance analysis, Subsystem requirements derivation, flow-down and configuration

  • Assist with Computational Electromagnetics and Antenna range integration & test as well as system integration

  • Creation of test support applications and tools using MATLAB, Python, etc. 

  • Communicate and flow down information to project team and functional homeroom management as well as fulfilling reporting requirements to customer & program management.

 
This position is contingent upon contract award, the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain/maintain special program access (SAP).
 
Basic Qualifications for a Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Masters Degree with 3 years of experience or Ph.D with 1 year of experience in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • U.S Citizenship is required.

  • A current/active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access

  • Knowledge of software programing languages (such as MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN, etc.)

  • Experience in RF subsystems

  • Familiarity with HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, GRASP, FEKO, SENTRi, or other computational electromagnetics software tools

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, Masters Degree with 6 years of experience or Ph.D with 4 year of experience in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • U.S Citizenship is required.

  • A current/active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access

  • Knowledge of software programing languages (such as MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN, etc.)
