JOB SUMMARY
Join our growing UT Southwestern Human Resources team as a Senior Employee Relations Consultant and help launch the first state psychiatric hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a critical role in launching our new facility by building a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace from day one. Serving as an advisor and subject matter human resources expert, you will help to shape the culture and employee experience within this growing operation. In this senior consultant role, you will provide guidance on policy interpretation, play a key role in facilitating advice and problem resolution on employee matters, ensuring compliance with workplace policies, training, and health/safety requirements. As a Senior Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a valuable part in creating positive and proactive employee relations across the Behavioral Health Center. We are looking for someone with prior Human Resources experience, specifically in employee relations supporting a large customer/employee group. Prior experience working in a Behavioral Health Environment and/or Hospital is preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
High School Diploma or
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience
9 years of professional experience in one or more areas of specific HR/ER management, including at least three (3) years in assigned area with High School Diploma or
5 years of professional experience in one or more areas of human resource management, including at least three (3) years in assigned area with Bachelor's Degree.
JOB DUTIES
- Provides advice, problem resolution, and facilitation in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and other related matters. Resolving and/or triaging issues as appropriate.
- Counsels, advises, and works with all levels of leadership and employees to identify and resolve work related matters in order to improve workforce performance and effectiveness.
