Boeing’s Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Executive Transport & Surveillance (ET&S) team is hiring for a Program Manager (Level K) that will have responsibility for overseeing all aspects of a Heavy Maintenance (HM) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract which involves cost, schedule, risk, and opportunity management along with overall responsibility for the progress and maturity of the HM contract from San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Program Management including cost, schedule and technical management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with U.S. Government customers.
  • 3+ years of experience with financial reporting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for building strong people-focused organizations and know how to define, build, execute, and measure against the enterprise’s vision
  • Experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings\ Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in the production, modification and/or conversion of airplanes
  • Proficient experience using project management tools & best practices
  • Experience developing & integrating strategic projects and initiatives to meet business goals
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, engineers, writers, product managers and software developers
  • Experienced in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate and coordinate multiple projects
  • Active Security Clearance preferred

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
