Sr. Print Technician

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Print Technician conducts demonstrations, press acceptances, print tests, and conducts print training classes on company products. They also consult with customers on applications of company products in the industry.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts product demonstrations for customers on all company products.
• Learns new products and trains the rest of the print team on their operation.
• Conducts press acceptances in STL and at customer facilities.
• Conducts print training classes for customers, employees, and vendors.
• Conducts print tests for customers and engineering.
• Runs press demonstrations at trade shows and events.
• Ensures fellow print technicians are following your example and delivering first class training and demonstrations.
• Consults with customers, engineering, and manufacturing on printing related issues.
• Assists new product development in validating new products.
• Provides daily supervision and guidance for demo team.
• Develops test criteria for new product development.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Demonstrates ability to produce high quality products with company equipment.
• High level of technical knowledge in narrow web flexographic print applications.
• Excellent customer service and interaction skills.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Highschool/GED
• 7 to 10 years of flexographic printing experience in the industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and move about facility and/or customer’s facilities. 
• Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
