GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience leading a team and providing analysis, validation, processing and correction of financial transactions and issues/problems involving the full range of financial services. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the GS-7 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience performing broad-in-depth financial analysis of inter-related accounting, logistics and computer file systems concerning pay, accounts payable, and various travel entitlements, using multiple procedures, processes and techniques to evaluate alternatives and arrive at decisions, conclusions and recommendations. Experience interpreting data to identify problems, determines nature of the problem or issue, decides approaches to use to resolve issues, and recommends solutions for systemic changes to enhance operations. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
