About the role:
Samsara is seeking a Senior BI Developer to advance our data-driven efforts in sales, marketing, and customer success. As part of the M.A.A.D (ML, AI, Analytics, Data) team in Revenue Operations, this role focuses on designing and delivering impactful BI solutions, including AI-enriched Salesforce CRM Analytics dashboards, Salesforce reports, and data integration pipelines. The Senior BI Developer will work closely with stakeholders to uncover insights, streamline decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency across the sales organization. This role is critical in driving the adoption of analytics tools and fostering a data-driven culture within Samsara.
This is a remote position and is open to candidates residing in the United States except for candidates who currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Metropolitan Area, the New York City Metropolitan Area, or the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will:
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM Analytics, Salesforce dashboards, and other business intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable BI solutions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key business challenges through data analysis and dashboard development.
- Support data strategy initiatives by integrating and optimizing data from multiple sources for a unified view of performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of predictive models and analytics, such as sales performance dashboards and pipeline forecasting tools, to improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior analysts and share best practices in BI development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
