Position Summary
Reporting to our Corporate Controller, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management will create a center of excellence around billing and collections and will take overall responsibility on revenue cycle management efficiency. This person will also work very closely with other members of the Finance, Accounting, Payroll and Account Management teams to ensure proper controls and timely reporting. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish standards of excellence and quality for Nomad’s revenue cycle management
  • Work with leadership to develop policies to ensure revenue cycle efficiency
  • Managing the revenue close and ensuring accurate month-end revenue recognition and related accruals
  • Lead the teams responsible for billing, dispute resolutions, [contract management], and collections
  • Create, monitor and improve revenue cycle management KPI’s, dashboards
  • Takes ownership of billing and collections and collaborates with management to resolve issues/problems in a timely manner and prevent their recurrence
  • Be the primary point of contact for all billing and collection related inquiries and work with all relevant teams such as systems, operations, and payroll
  • Manage relationships and communication with customers and external business partners
  • Mentor and develop team members, setting goals and meeting regularly to discuss progress individually and as a team. Identify, implement, and become the in-house expert on billing system(s)
  • Develop, refine and improve processes and controls around revenue
  • Assist in continued development and scaling of the revenue accounting team

Who are you?

  • Must have 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle management in a healthcare staffing agency setting
  • Knowledge of contractual agreements, revenue recognition under ASC 606 and a general background and understanding of accruals related to revenue.
  • Must be willing to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Low-ego, independent, and results-driven team player who can seamlessly integrate into the finance and accounting teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely.
  • Workday experience preferred

Compensation for this full-time position is between $132,000 to $205,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employ
