SUMMARY

3rd Shift, Friday- Sunday 5:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and mandatory over-time on Monday & Thursday

Responsible for the warehouse supervisory function relating to the planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and product to meet company objectives and customer requirements in a high-volume multi-site environment. This involves the responsibility of directing and administering shipping, receiving, inventory control by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, organizes, coordinates and manages personnel and activities to ensure effective and efficient processing, shipping, storage, and issuance of materials while continuously striving for improvement in all materials processes.
  • Maintains all inventories, components, finished goods to ensure accuracy of the inventory.
  • Supervises physical inventory in multiple warehouses.
  • Responsible for the logistics of transporting materials from various facilities and suppliers
  • Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates, their performance, and their personal and professional growth.
  • Assures that established policy, rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees and safety.
  • Responsible for maintaining a quality work environment including good housekeeping (i.e.5S).
  • Interfaces with other divisions and operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all material.
  • Coordinates the timely, accurate, damage-free shipments of all products.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
  • Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the QS 9000 and MMOG systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring budgetary goals are accomplished.
