Purpose of the role:

Within ABS, contribute to the overall AEI financial reporting and budgeting consolidation and reporting of  AEI results and budgets to AEI management.  Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS accounting standards, Asahi Group policies and support group internal and external audit procedures. 

The objective of the role:

  • Group Reportingsuport preparation of consolidated financial statements (quarterly, annual, budget) in line with IFRS and Asahi Group standards.
  • Audit & Controlsactive involvement in internal/external audit process, execute controls, and ensure compliance.
  • Financial Planningcontribute to to consolidated results for Budget, Forecasts, MTP;
  • support variance analysis and scenario planning.
  • Process & Systemssuggest and introduce reporting process improvements and system enhancements with Finance & Digital teams.
  • Accounting Complianceinvolvement in updates to IFRS, tax, and Asahi policies
  • Business and Project Supportcollaborate with various teams to deliver ad-hoc reporting solutions incl. reorganisation  projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Auditing or related
  • 3-5 years prior accounting/reporting experience and process optimization.
  • Advanced English  is needed.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SAP/HFM or equivalent is a must. Power BI & VBA skills are advantageous. 
  • Experience of working in shared services functions/experience of working within regional teams in a matrix environment is advantageous.
