You will build and maintain e-commerce features, as well as integrations with supply chain, finance, customer support, and payment systems .<br/>We are looking for you who have a burning passion for backend development. You love seeing how a system comes to life and understand the important synergy between databases, application code and APIs. You are curious and always want to expand your knowledge in the areas you are passionate about. You are also not afraid of expressing your concerns or new ideas you want others to hear about. You like to share your work and findings with colleagues and enjoy discussing subjects in the areas you are passionate about.<br/> <h3>Tasks &amp; Responsibilities: </h3> <ul> <li>Suggest, design and implement new system features </li><li>Maintain the technical aspects of our ecommerce backend</li><li>Design and implement integrations with the rest of Yubico’s back end systems</li><li>Provide support on the platform for internal users </li><li>Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation (average &lt;1 incident/month in the last 12 months)</li><li>Mentor junior developer colleagues</li><br/></ul> <h3>Skills &amp; Experience:</h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in PHP, including deep knowledge of object oriented principles</li><li>Experience leading projects including design and development of back-end features</li><li>5+ years of design and implementation experience with relational SQL databases</li><li>3+ year of experience with modern frameworks, such as Laminas, Laravel, Slim, Symfony, Zend</li><li>Experience creating and consuming REST APIs</li><li>Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Redis</li><li>Self-motivated and interested in e-commerce area</li><br/></ul> <h3>Nice to Have:</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with cross-system integrations, such as Netsuite </li><li>Experience with Magento</li><li>Experience with e-commerce and supply chain operations</li><li>Linux experience</li><li>Proficiency with one of the three major cloud platforms</li><li>Experience building simple administrative interfaces with HTML/CSS/JavaScript interfaces</li><br/></ul>#LI-Hybrid#LI-BR1<br/>We are an equal opportunity employer, we value diversity and uphold an inclusive environment where all people feel that they are equally respected and valued.
