Accountant - Retail

Job Description

• Responsible for the review of the trial balance and related financial statements.
• Responsible for preparing, adjusting, and correcting journal entries.
• Responsible for various reconciliations, including bank accounts, pre-paid, and liabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year college degree in Accounting or in similar disciplines.
• Must have experience with fixed assets, prepaid account amortization schedules and various expense accruals, such as payroll and accounts payable.
• Must be comfortable with 10-key, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, advanced in Excel), G/L (General Ledger) financial system applications, and report writer applications. 
• The ability to read, write and speak English professionally is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
