We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer.  This position requires an experienced professional that can operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects pertaining to Systems Infrastructure. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects pertaining to Systems infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems technologies such as VMware, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Continually analyze and work to improve quality of services offered by IT.
• Train/Mentor junior staff members as appropriate.
• Continually analyze and work to improve quality of services offered by IT.
• Participate in ongoing technology evaluations and keep up with technology trends and industry standards.
• Suggest improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements.
• Train/Mentor junior staff members as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Information Technology/Computer Science or combination of education and equivalent work experience
• 8+ years’ Experience in Datacenter and remote office IT hosting environment implementations and support in a globally distributed environment
• 8+ years in systems and service hosting solutions for distributed environments, including Windows and Linux, across a hypervisor platform like VMware
• 8+ years’  implementing large Enterprise service deployments for back office services such as DNS/DHCP, AD, Azure AD, MFA, File services, Printing services, Email services across multiple domains, Office 365, etc..
• 8+ years’ experience and awareness of systems security practices, data protection, such as host configurations, patch and configuration management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vxrail HCI
• Rubrik Backup Platform
• AWS, and Kubernetes experience a plus
• Scripting language and platform experience, such as python, shell, PowerShell, with platforms such as ansible
