Senior Maintenance Supervisor

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Senior Maintenance Supervisor. This position is responsible for the Supervision of maintenance technicians engaged in equipment installation, equipment troubleshooting and repair, and preventative maintenance. Collaborates with management to schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Collaborates with appropriate site personnel to maintain effective and safe utilization of plant facilities and equipment. Develops and oversees preventive maintenance program and coordinates implementation with Production management. Provides technical expertise to ensure equipment meets operational standards and is in conformance with OSHA regulations. Location: Faribault – onsite 

Shift: Flexible 2nd shift, Monday - Friday

 

What you will do:  

• Supervises facilities, maintenance and electrical technicians engaged in equipment installation, equipment troubleshooting and repair, building and grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance 
• May supervise tool room employees 
• Collaborates with management to schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations 
• Collaborates with site management to plan equipment layout, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maintain effective and safe utilization of plant facilities and equipment 
• Develops and oversees preventive maintenance program and coordinates implementation with Production management 
• Provides technical expertise to ensure equipment meets operational standards and is in conformance with OSHA regulations 
• May oversee or coordinate facility communication and/or security systems 
• Completes employee performance evaluations and has the ability to address performance related matters 
• Reviews and Closes completed work orders to proper standards in maintenance management software 
• Responds to emergencies and supports after hours facility needs and activities as required 
• Participates as a lead of the emergency response team. Assist outside emergency response teams 
• Observes, complies with and holds team accountable to Company safety procedures at all times

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Associate’s Degree or Equivalent 
• 3+ years of related experience/training 
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Previous leadership experience

The typical salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $132,800 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
