About the role

- Lead a team of PDEs on a fast-moving program from concept through production.
- Responsible for design of mechanical components and system integration, meeting the key program pillars (ID, quality, cost, etc.).
- Work closely with Electrical Engineering (EE), Systems Engineering (SYS), Design Verification (DVE), Technical Program Management (TPM) and our Contract Manufacturer (CM) to ensure the product requirements are met.
- 10% travel to the factory to support factory builds and testing (FATP).
- 2+ years of experience managing a technical team or leading technical projects.
- 5+ years working on consumer electronics with large cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Experience launching one or two products, from concept through mass production.
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 10+ years working as a lead on consumer electronics with large cross-functional teams.
- Experience launching multiple products, from concept through mass production, with multiple companies.
