What You Can Expect
As Managing Director Network US, you will lead the development, operations, and P&L of Networks GBU in the USA, ensuring growth, operational performance, and financial results in line with ENGIE’s best practices and governance. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing hydrogen infrastructures, focusing on underground storage
- Producing e-methane
- Preparing and developing power networks in the US
- Managing the withdrawal from the Neptune LNG terminal
You will plan, organize, execute, and monitor activities in the US, ensuring efficient communication with ENGIE entities, promoting company growth, and leading Storengy’s UHS development program, including building partnerships and focusing on R&D and innovation. You will develop and execute an ambitious e-methane production plan and prepare the development of power networks to maximize business results and enhance ENGIE’s market flexibility. As a member of ENGIE Networks Americas, you will lead the Networks-GBU development team in the US, setting goals, objectives, and accountabilities.
As Project Director for Storengy, you will oversee the HyKeuper UHS project in the UK until the contract with the UK government is signed. Reporting to the President Executive, with a dotted line to the Head of Operations / Southam Country Manager, you will prioritize Health & Safety, focusing on partners and equipment suppliers. You will develop strategic plans aligned with ENGIE’s objectives, make and implement key decisions regarding resources, environment, commercial network, contracts, pricing, and other strategic and financial aspects. You will organize the project team, processes, and schedule, support the HyKeuper project's development, manage planning and organization, secure all project steps until the contract is signed, and foster cooperation and knowledge management. You will oversee and direct UK teams, supervise an Executive Team, and participate in lobbying and representation efforts to protect Storengy’s interests.
What You’ll Bring
- Engineering, Business Administration or Economics bachelor’s degree or similar
- Minimum fifteen (15) years in energy / natural gas sector
- Robust knowledge of gas market drivers globally
- Technical expertise in the underground gas storage business
- Experience in business development
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 25% of the time.
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
- This position consist of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
Compensation
Salary Range: $232,900.00– $341,550.00 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
