Job Overview

The Medical Management Coordinator develops and manages department corrective action plans, work plans, and audit schedules and gathers data to track corrective action and work plan responses and strategy. This position performs trouble-shooting when problems situations arise and coordinates with leadership.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2. MA or Medical Billing certificate preferred.

3. Prior experience working in a clinic or health care call center.

4. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical billing environment (IPA or HMO preferred); with pre-authorizations and reimbursement regulations pertaining to Medi-Cal, CCS and other government programs required.

5. Or Minimum 2 years experience working in a healthcare environment; knowledge of prior authorization and case management regulations governing Medi-Cal, Commercial, Medicare, CCS, and other government and commercial programs.

6. Or Minimum 2 years of experience in quality improvement/data analysis/project management with successful deployment demonstrating measurable positive results.

Salary Range

$26.13 - $32.55 hourly
