About the role
What you need to know:

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our small HR team of four in the Dublin office. Knowledge of Irish Payroll is essential for this role along with excellent reporting capabilities, attention to detail and time management skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in other areas of HR admin and be willing to get involved in HR activities to support the team such as offboarding, talent acquisition and various HR admin tasks.


What we’re looking for:
Payroll
• Responsible for the collation & preparation of monthly payroll data to be sent to the vendor;
• Timely and accurate delivery of the payroll;
• Liaising with internal and external clients on payroll related matters;
• Dealing with employee queries and liaising with the vendor on any Finance related queries;
• Validating & submitting reports to the Pension Administrators;
• Calculation & administration of monthly Pension, health insurance & other payroll related deductions including liaising with our external vendors;
• Liaising with Finance on the processing of Travel Tickets etc.;
• Production of monthly and quarterly reports across four business entities;
• Other miscellaneous payroll related duties.


Admin Support:
• Act as main point of contact for all general HR admin queries;
• Prepare monthly HR reports- headcount, turnover etc;
• Ownership of the HR Time Management System;
• Monthly processing of new joiners and leavers;
• Carry out exit interviews as necessary;
• Assist in the development, update and implementation of new HR policies and procedures.


Experience:
• HR Degree and or CIPD qualification/ Payroll qualification is desirable;
• A solid Irish payroll background- preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ experience;
• Solid knowledge of Irish PAYE/ PRSI and USC;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and credibility with
individuals of all levels;
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints;
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at any given time;
• Flexible, able to work effectively as part of a team and also on own initiative
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, Excel being of particular importance.
• Attention to detail and committed to quality.
