Warehouse Technician

Summary:  The Warehouse Technician participates in our warehouse operations and activities.  The job duties consist of receiving and sorting equipment, processing orders for sub-contractors, and assisting in the Warehouse where needed.

Reports to:  Warehouse Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and sorting equipment
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and pallet area neat, organize warehouse, and work area for orderliness always
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Other duties as requested

• Dependable and reliable
• Cycle counting in inventory
• assisting Duct Board
• Current forklift certified (training available)
• Organization and time management skills
• Familiar with warehouse practices and methods
• Computer skills helpful (Windows based business software)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and criminal background check
• Start shift at 5:00 a.m.
• Must be flexible to work overtime, possibly weekends
• Have dependable transportation

Physical Requirements and Abilities:

• Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10 to 150 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust and focus

Language Skills:

Bilingual in English and Spanish, helpful
