Feibel Center, and Heart of Ohio Family Health at Whitehall-Yearling (a school-based site). Job Summary: This position supports the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Manager in the following manner: 

  • Greet patients, visitors and others upon entry 
  • Safely, efficiently and accurately processes prescriptions through split verification (data entry/production)
  • Provides necessary consultations at pick up with patients                                                                     

Reports to: Director of Pharmacy

Supervises: Pharmacy technician staff

Dress Requirement: Business/Business casual or scrubs and a white lab coat in accordance to Heart of Ohio Family Health’s dress code policy

Work Schedule: 36 hours/week
Monday, Wednesday: 8 am – 5 pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 9 am – 8 pm
*Friday coverage requirement and schedule may vary throughout the year to ensure appropriate staffing

Monday through Friday during standard business hours

Times are subject to change due to business necessity

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support of pharmacy services by assembling and dispensing medications in an efficient, accurate and patient-centered manner
  • Respond to requests from providers and patients via phone, computer and face-to-face interactions 
  • Responsible for dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all patients
  • Supervises technician staff 
  • Provide MTM services as well as professional consultation when requested on a walk-in basis 
  • Provide immunizations where recommended by ACIP, FDA Recommendation and the CDC
  • Assisting in the maintenance of records in accordance with company policy and state/federal law
  • Provide clinical pharmacy support which may include, but isn’t limited to, medication reconciliation, providing pharmacotherapy recommendations to providers, provide care coordination with primary care, behavioral health and specialty teams.
  • Inventory management which includes, but not limited to, annual controlled substance inventory and daily maintenance of in-stock medications and supplies
  • Non-sterile compounding
