TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) has been established to pursue medical isotopes development--advancing nuclear science for significant human health benefits. We seek to support revolutionary radiotherapies for treatments of various cancers through the supply of radioisotopes. TPI currently produces actinium-225 for the growing alpha therapy market and intends to expand.

Senior Project Manager

TerraPower Isotopes (TPI) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of assigned projects and work in support of a high-growth business within an operating radiopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for end-to-end technical and project leadership, spanning procurement, design, installation, commissioning, and validation as needed on a given project.

 

The Senior Project Manager will act as the technical and execution leader, responsible for integrating internal engineering, quality, and operations teams, business priorities, with external engineering, construction, and equipment partners. This role is empowered to drive direction, resolve issues, and make timely project decisions based on multidisciplinary input. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for maintaining alignment across all parties and for protecting the project schedule, escalating decisions as required to ensure milestones are met.

 

This position requires a hands-on, technically grounded leader capable of driving alignment, resolving complex issues, and making timely, well-informed decisions in a regulated environment.

 

Responsibilities:

    Lead the execution of a complex, assigned projects spanning procurement, detailed design, install, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing capabilities.

    Serve as the primary execution integrator across internal engineering, quality, operations, and business stakeholders and external engineering, construction, and equipment partners as needed.

    Drive technical decision-making and issue resolution to maintain project momentum, incorporating appropriate cross-functional input while protecting the critical path schedule.

    Work with the master scheduler to plan, manage, and maintain the integrated master schedule. Identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities and taking proactive action to preserve key milestones.

    Oversee vendor and contractor performance, including scope alignment, technical deliverables, schedule adherence, and change control.

    Ensure project execution aligns with applicable cGMP, quality, safety, and regulatory expectations, coordinating closely with Quality, Engineering, and Health Physics leadership.

    Monitor and communicate project status using clear, decision-focus reporting of schedule, cost, risks, and technical issues.

    Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and conflicts in a timely manner, recommending mitigation strategies and decision paths as needed.

    Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, decision logs, and executive updates.
