Federal Reserve Bank of MinneapolisThe Program Assurance Function (PAF) has an immediate opening for a Project/Program Principal specializing in Agile and the 4Ps (Product, Portfolio, Project and Program).The PAF plays a role in supporting the success of the Federal Reserve System’s (FRS) large-scale program management through the delivery of standards and best practices, templates, and renewable capabilities. In this role, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the System to identify, document, and mature Product and Agile standards and best practices.

Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office at least one day per week for meetings and team collaboration, unless directed otherwise by your supervisor.
Note: A remote work arrangement may be considered for existing Federal Reserve System staff who are not local to the 9th District and who meet the Bank’s established remote work criteria.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of FRS product management standard, tools, and templates.
Work with representatives across the FRS to build relationships, understand business and technology needs, and recommend best practices, standards, and common tooling. Partner with Product and Agile practitioners to validate recommendations.
Work with business areas at initiative startup and closeout to ensure awareness of applicable standards, such as technical, quality, timeliness, and cost, as well as to relevant FRS policy, governance, guidance, and frameworks.
Demonstrate strategic thought direction and leadership in addressing unique and/or complex situations that impact the related project/programs, products, etc.
Monitor developments and best practices in the internal/external business environment, FRS, and regulatory matters.
Anticipate potential challenges and advises and/or recommends appropriate realignments to programs, projects, processes, training, resources, products, or services.
Possess in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in Product and Agile discipline(s), and broad knowledge of related disciplines.
Generate timely and appropriate communications. Develop, produce and/or deliver organizational and enterprise-level presentations, views, and reports related to project/s and/or programs. Promote the awareness and adoption of standards and renewable capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of direct work-related experience in managing large-scale/complex projects or programs in the Federal Reserve System or in the financial services, technology, and/or regulatory sectors or functions, including a minimum of 3 years of direct Product Management work experience OR
Master's degree and minimum of 8 years of direct work-related experience in managing large-scale/complex projects or programs in the Federal Reserve System or in the financial services, technology, and/or regulatory sectors or functions, including a minimum of 3 years of direct Product Management work experience.
Experience balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and finding solutions that will work for all parties.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, organizational and planning, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strategic, critical thinking and judgment skills.
Highly motivated and self-driven.
Ability to identify and manage risk, as well as deal with ambiguity.
Advanced proficiency using standard business applications and software.
Professional certifications in Product Management and Agile strongly preferred.
Portfolio, program management or project management certification preferred.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $129,700.0 - $162,067.0- $194,50.0 annual
