Position Specific Description
- Primary focus is to drive credit policy and fraud prevention improvements which have material P&L impacts
- Design and implement end-to-end workflow improvements across multiple business segments
- Query and extract large datasets for analysis and dashboard injection while visualizing effective insights for management
- Evaluate potential vendor partnerships in the credit, collections, and fraud prevention space
- Provide analytical support and thought leadership to junior BAs when creating metrics, KPIs, and dashboards
- Carefully monitor internal and external trends in credit, fraud, and collections to ensure the team maintains best practices
- Provide, refine, and ensure execution of business requirements for the functional area in projects
- Improve financial models which provide plan and forecast projected bad debt performance
- Work directly with Accounting & FP&A to reconcile bad debt bookings and ensure accuracy of system write offs
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ demonstrated experience in data analysis, FP&A, project management, or Retail Energy preferred
- Mass Market or Commercial/Industrial credit, underwriting, or fraud prevention experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree (Required) or MBA (Preferred)
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to execute strategic improvements in metrics or key performance indicators
- Must possess the following: ability to meet strict deadlines with high level of accuracy, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high demand environment and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerBI
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and proven ability to influence
- Outstanding problem-solver, should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
