DESCRIPTION
The duties of the IT Operations Technician involve providing frontline support to end users and technology on the production lines. This includes primarily supporting users, desktops, laptops, and printers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Maintain and support IT technologies on the production lines.
- Maintain and support laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
- Administer user accounts through Windows Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Using IT Ticket System to manage and promptly respond to issues as they occur.
- Triage and escalate tickets to System Administration team as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and contribute to procedures documentation.
- Be able to work flexible schedules to support extended hour operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years related experience and/or training/certifications; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
- A+, Network+, Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
- Regular use of ladders and lifts to reach hardware located in high ceilings.
- Must be comfortable in an industrial environment.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
