Senior SCCM Engineer

What does a successful Senior SCCM Engineer do at Fiserv?

With a key role in maintaining the stability and security of our network, you will be responsible for the administration, patching, and maintenance of client health within our SCCM environment. Providing Level 3 support, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our systems that support core organizational functions.

What you will do:

• Administer and manage the SCCM environment, including application deployments, patch management, and software updates
• Monitor and maintain client health, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SCCM clients
• Develop and implement patch management strategies to keep systems up-to-date and secure
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and service records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications and updates
• Implement and enforce security standards in-line with company policies and compliance requirements
• Participate in the planning and implementation of SCCM system upgrades and enhancements
• Provide expert-level support and technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers

What you will need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in SCCM administration, patching, troubleshooting, and client health management
• 5+ years of experience working with Windows operating systems and network protocols
• 4+ years of experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

• Certifications in SCCM or related technologies
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment
• ITIL certifications
