Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Operations Manager/Technical Advisor

STV is currently seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Operations Manager/Technical Advisor for our Wastewater Treatment group in either Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK to lead, capture and manage municipal water and wastewater opportunities and in particular, wastewater treatment opportunities for our National Water Practice. This is a hybrid position (3 days week/in office).
Key responsibilities include:
- Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships, in partnership with technical staff.
- Identify / track new business opportunities and partnering opportunities, focusing on Oklahoma clients but also work across the region and nationally.
- Work closely with staff across departments to implement growth and new market strategies.
- Track, manage, and update all opportunities through a Client Relation Management (CRM) System to develop and meet annual sales and backlog targets.
- Provide technical leadership related to evaluating operability of treatment plant designs across the practice.
- Provide technical assistance with evaluating PFAS in collection systems and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Provide technical assistance during construction related to plant startups and operating procedures.
- Lead operations business management consulting business in Oklahoma and support similar efforts throughout the water group.
- Collaborate on proposal team activities related to operations support throughout pursuit lifecycle, working in partnership with the Business Unit Managers, technical teams, and proposal management team.
- Participate in WEF and NACWA industry associations, seminars, trade shows, and events.
- Attend Business Development events to grow existing client base, including evening events and multi-day expos.
- Work with the Oklahoma and Texas Area Managers and Business Unit Managers to develop strategies for cultivating prospects and obtaining work.
- Provide regional and national support in wastewater treatment pursuits, meeting with current and prospective wastewater treatment clients, and assisting with the technical development of staff and recruiting to help grow the wastewater treatment team at STV.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related degree.
- History of developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and peers and knowledge of the water industry.
- Fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Display initiative, independent thinking, and teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and situation as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, perform in a business environment, and maintain professionalism in all communications and demeanor.
Compensation Range:
