GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
A globally connected organization is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to lead all people operations for its North American office. This is a high-impact, standalone role supporting ~60+ employees, ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership across HR, recruiting, and employee experience while partnering with an international parent company.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the sole HR lead, managing all day-to-day HR operations for the Atlanta office
- Own full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Drive employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives
- Partner with leadership on HR strategy, policies, and organizational needs
- Collaborate regularly with the global HR team in Europe to ensure alignment with company policies
- Maintain compliance with HR regulations and best practices
- Support performance management, employee relations, and culture-building efforts

What We’re Looking For
- ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a standalone or small team environment
- Experience supporting similar-sized organizations (~50–100 employees) or larger environments with broad responsibility
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and internationally
- Self-starter who is confident operating independently and building processes
