Job Description:

To support our exponential growth, Zscaler Finance is looking for a Finance M&A Integration leader with experience in post-merger finance integration. This role will be a part of the Finance Business Transformation and Processes organization and work closely with senior Finance leadership and Corporate Development Team

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of integration strategy and develop detailed integration plan for Accounting & Controllership, Tax, Treasury, FP&A that Finance will execute on.
• Assess Finance processes and systems and complete day 1 planning for Finance along with Cut-over planning and TSA support.
• Execute against post Day 1 integration plans; Track & Manage progress against integration plan.
• Design and implement Finance M&A integration governance model and reporting cadence; Facilitate Finance Integration project and steerco meetings.
• Work with Finance operations leads to identify risks and issues related to finance integration and develop mitigation/ resolution.
• Assess process & system synergies; develop templates to gather information required for Day 1.
• Work with the Strategic Finance M&A Integration director to determine duplicate work performed by Finance personnel & develop plan to eliminate redundancy.
• Develop service delivery model and job responsibilities for retained staff.
• Develop knowledge capture capabilities from the target company to mitigate against potential attrition in Finance department.
• Provide input to develop models to measure and report on metrics related to Finance.
• Implement metric measurement and reporting within the Finance function; develop dashboards to support reporting.
• Understand impacts of M&A integration on end-to-end Finance processes R2R, O2C, FP&A, S2P, Tax, Treasury, Payroll and IA.
• Work with Finance operations/ functional leads and determine critical hand-offs and responsibilities for integration related activities; Manage hand-offs and ensure timeliness of information and data exchange between Finance leaders.
• Determine critical path for financial close related tasks post-merger and support pre/post close meetings to prevent delays.
• Lead execution and management of long-term standardization and harmonization of Finance processes and systems of the two companies. 
• Work with IT and Strategic Finance M&A Integration director develop technology rationalization strategy, support implementation of strategy.
• Support change management activities and develop/ drive internal and external communications.
• Support Finance transformation projects and implementation as required. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in supporting M&A Finance Integration and Finance Process and Systems Transformation transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Finance and Finance M&A integration within technology and SaaS companies with cloud-based service offerings in security, networking, or connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes and key systems, including but not limited to NetSuite, Coupa, Salesforce, FloQast, etc.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles as related to integration of mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
• Strong program management skills, driving Finance integration management, ability to understand process impacts, drive change and leverage collaboration tools.
