Job Title: Production Manager, Content Development & Operations (Temp)

A little bit about our team:

Arts Music is Warner Music Group’s umbrella of labels dedicated to signing, developing, and marketing releases across genres such as musical theater, children’s music, classical, jazz, soundtracks, and film scores. Arts Music is the home of the Warner Classics and Erato labels for classical music and Ghostlight Records and First Night Records for musical theater.

Your role:

Do you love Broadway? Do you have fond memories of Children's music from your own youth? Are you experienced in marketing directly to consumers? We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-starting, and organized Production Manager, Content Development & Operations for the Broadway and Children's music genres, who will develop and deliver new releases, as well as lead product development aspects of these ever-growing catalogs.

This role presents a special and unique opportunity to be one of the key people on a small, tight-knit team, directly liaising with all relevant internal departments, major brand partners, producers, artists, and more. The ideal candidate will work with external partners to ideate releases, create visual artwork, ingest and deliver audio content, generate metadata and see new release through to delivery in the digital and physical consumer markets.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Create label copy and keep track of all the integral details that create metadata

  • Drive the day-to-day processes involved in delivery of artwork, audio, track lists, creation of canvas videos, processing of music videos and recording information, from outside vendors and contacts

  • Manage label scheduling and operations teams for all digital and physical releases to ensure product set-up

  • Drive project content by collecting the elements of metadata and ensures those elements are collected and organized for music products, organizes and delivers audio files, delivers cover art to the production team

  • Understand and communicate release plan strategies for Children’s Media & Broadway content to clients

  • Head CD and LP production including setup with internal scheduling teams, hiring product designers, gathering assets from the production or artist management teams, routing approvals, and distributing promotional product

  • Own podcast scheduling and asset set up via podcast platform Art19, including submitting RSS feeds and initiating profile set ups to applicable DSPs

  • Transcribe lyrics and deliver to DSPs

  • Oversee Vendor Product Orders submitted to the internal WMG Artist Orders Team

  • Possess a “customer service” attitude while managing a variety of deadlines 

About you:

  • Record Label or Digital Service Provider (DSP) experience in project management

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about music across the Broadway and Children's genres

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, can bring fresh ideas to life

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and goal setting skills
